Friday and Saturday, April 3 & 4: Viking Storm, The Pinhook and Duke Coffeehouse
I'm really not sure what Vikings have to do with Viking Storm, other than that there might be some kind of Viking beer involved. My understanding is that this is basically a two-day release party for the new Hammer No More the Fingers disk. And while I love HNMTF, who will be playing Saturday at Duke Coffeehouse, I have to say, the can't miss evening is Friday at the Pinhook with my new favorite band, Pink Flag, and The Bronzed Chorus, who were the most exciting and indescribable band I saw all last year.
Check out the full track list here.
Also check out the .mp3's for "Shutterbug"
And "Nobody Knows."
