Pure to play first show in 18 years!

Got this the other day from Pure drummer Danni Iosello:

The very first show in 18 years will be in Asheville at The Grey Eagle on July 19 and then we're also playing in Knoxville, TN at The Pilot Light on July 21.

They'll also be at XXMerge the following weekend, but unless you already have tickets, you're out of luck on that one. Let's hope the reunion is a permanent one!

Pure to reform bor Merge XX, play "secret shows"

Some of you may be aware of this, but I just recently found out that Pure is reforming to play at Merge XX, and is playing a few "secret shows" here and there. My fellow old-times (who remember what North Carolina was like musically in 1991) will appreciate this. If I find out when and where any of these shows are, I'll pass the info along.
